Informal Sector Service Center (INSEC) has organized a discussion program with stakeholders regarding the human rights situation of Dolakha District on May 30 and 31.
The program was held under the INSEC program operating in the district on “Making local community responsible by making them aware and accountable to the concerned body”. The program was organized at Surke Secondary School in Bhimeshwor Municipality ward -9 Lakuri Danda with Child RIghts Awareness Group (CRAG), Human Rights Watch Committee and principal of the school regarding the education, health and food rights in the district.
Speaking at the program, members of CRAG said that the program operated by INSEC has supported to raise voice on child friendly study, toilet management, fee and compulsory education.
The officials of Human Rights Watch group said that free medicine and regularity of staffs was made possible in initiation from the local human rights watch group. The discussion session was focused on economic social and cultural rights of the people. The INSEC team included management chief Prem Parajuli, INSEC coordinator Krishna Gautam , focal person Ganesh Bhandary and INSEC district representative.
