Police arrested Tika Bahadur Rana, 41, of Butwal Submetropolitan-19, on June 7, on charges of raping a 22-year-old woman.
The victim’s family filed a complaint on June 7 at the Area Police Office, Butwal, accusing Rana of raping the victim on June 5.
The victim underwent a medical examination on June 7 at Lumbini Provincial Hospital, Butwal.
