Jaya Krishna Biraji alias Bhattarai, 25 of Tirhut Rural Municipality-2 and a warden at Peace Zone Model School at Raj BIraj Municipality-2 dies on June 26 after he was beaten by a group of people.
The victim’s father Upendra Yadav had lodged an FIR against nine people on charge of their involvement in a killing after beating. DSP Bhabesh Rimal of the District Police Office said that the name of all accused is kept secret as they might abscond if it is made public. The postmortem of the body is conducted at Koshi Zonal Hospital in Biratnagar.
Biraji was working as a teacher and a hostel warden. He was attacked by a group of people on the night of June 25. He succumbs the injuries while undergoing treatment on June 27 according to the police SP Manoj Kumar Yadav of DPO.
The victim was on the way to meet his friend from the hostel at Raj Biraj Municipality-7 where he was severely beaten by a group of youth and succumbs the injuries while undergoing treatment at Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital.
He was rushed to Nobel Hospital after he could not get treatment in Rajbiraj. The people involved in a beating are at large and their search is intensified according to the police source.
