Police have arrested 48 years old Pukan Sadaa on December 21 on the charge of murdering Shobha Sadaa-26 of Bhalaayadanda-9 Dhuwase after beating her to death.
DSP Om Bahadur Rana of District Police Office said, the victim was beaten by the accused on December 20 after consuming alcohol.
The team of police officials reached at scene of crime on December 21, next day after the incident. The statement of the accused differs but he is suspected involving in the incident and has been arrested for further investigation.
According to police, the dead body was brought to the district hospital for postmortem on December 21, however the victim was yet to undergo for post-mortem when the news was being prepared.
