Ram Bahadur Gurung, ward chairperson was accused of beating up Lakshman GC, Machhapuchhre Rural Municipality-8 of Kaski, on 24 February.
The victim, JC, informed that ward chairperson Gurung had beaten him up in his office. According to ward chairman Gurung, the allegations are false, and they just had a conversation in the office.
Demanding action against Ward Chairman Gurung, JC filed a complaint at District Police Office Kaski on 24 February. Various employee associations of Kaski have objected to the incident.
According to the police, Nepal Civil Servants Association, Nepal National Employees Union, Nepal National Employees Association, and Civil and Integrated Government Employees Association issued a joint statement and demanded strict action against the culprit and proper compensation for the injured.
