25-year-old Mukesh Yadav of Dakneshwari Municipality-10, 22-year-old Mukesh Ram of Shambhunath Municipality-4 Sakhuwa, and 30-year-old Shankardev Sah were arrested on 4 February on charges of gang rape of a 21-year-old woman.
As per the victim, accused blocked the road and tried to rape her while she was riding a motercycle through the road on 28 January.
The victim filed a complaint at the district police office on 30 January. The District Police Office arrested the accused on 30 January and registered a complaint on the same day.
The medical examination of the victim was conducted on at Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital Rajviraj on 9 Febraury. DSP Naresh Kumar Singh said that the district police office started an investigation against the accused on 6 February 2023.
