A family of a 13-year-old rape victim filed a complaint on December 27, 2022, against 30-year-old Mohammad Shayed, a resident of Triyuga Municipality-6 and a temporary resident of Lahan Municipality-14, on the charge of rape.
The victim’s mother filed a complaint at the local police office in Lahan on December 27, saying that the accused had raped the victim on December 26.
The health examination of the victim was conducted at the provincial hospital in Lahan on December 27.
According to DSP Kumar Prasad Mainali, District Police Office Lahan, the accused has absconded. The search for the accused is going on.
