Police has arrested Sachin Thapa, 24, of Siddhartha Nagar Municipality-1 on December 27, in the charge of raping a 17-year-old girl child.
Victim has filed a complaint on December 27 stating that the accused raped her on December 26.
Shyamu Aryal, DSP of district police office informed that the accused has been arrested based on the complaint and the case is under investigation.
Victim informed that she filed a complaint seeking justice after the accused raped her by blocking her way while she was walking on the road.
Health checkup of the victim was conducted at Bhim hospital, Bhairahawa, on December 27.
