Ram Narayan Yadav, has filed a complaint at the Area Police Office Mirchaiya on December 29 regarding the death of his wife Mantutdevi Yadav, 50, of Mirchaiya Municiplaity-3. He filed a complaint against the deceased’s brother-in-law Ramdev Yadav,45, sister-in-law Mayadevi Yadav,42, Nagendra Yadav, 50, and Rakesh Yadav,22.
According to Ram Narayan Yadav, on December 23, the accused’s cattle damaged his crops. After he complained about this to the accused they resorted to physically assaulting his wife. After the incident, Ram Narayan Yadav and Mantutdevi were physically attacked by the accused again on the way to the police . This resulted in spot death of Mantutdevi.
The post-mortem of the dead body was done at Siraha Provincial Hospital on December 30.
According to DSP Hari Bahadur Walika of the Area Police Office, Mirchaiya, the accused Nagendra and Rakesh were arrested on December 29. The search for the absconded accused is going on.
