Sagar Devi Rai, 70, of Chakraghatta Rural Municipality-2 Belhi, was beaten to death by her brother-in-law, Rampukar Rai, 65, her son , Jitendra Rai, 41, and her daughter-in-law, Anita Devi Rai, 34.
Rajib Kumar Yadav, the deceased’s son, said that the accused beat and killed Sagar Devi Rai on December 12 during a property dispute.
Rampukar, the accused involved in the beating incident, was arrested by the police on the same day of the incident, while the other accused are absconding, said SP Pravin Pokharel, District Police Office, Malangwa.
The body has been kept at the Provincial Hospital, Malangwa for post-mortem.
