Police found a suspicious object in the public park, located between the south side of the civil training institute in Jawalakhel, House of Representatives Constituency No. 3, and the front of the liaison office of the alliance party, Lalitpur Constituency No. 3.
The Nepal Army team disposed of the object on the night of November 18.
Sudhir Raj Shahi, SP of District Police Complex Lalitpur, the object was not an explosive but a pressure cooker. It was used to create an environment of fear for the general public.
SP Shahi told the INSEC representative that the district police complex in Lalitpur is investigating the incident and the search for the individual responsible for this is ongoing.
