Right now, there are more than 11,000 infected with dengue in Nepal.
According to the statistics released by the Ministry at a press conference on September 14, dengue infection has been confirmed in 11,065 people so far.
The disease has been spread in 75 districts of all seven provinces.
As per their information, 347 people in Province 1, 198 in Madhes Province, 8,390 in Bagmati Province, 224 in Gandaki Province, 1,421 in Lumbini Province, 162 in Karnali Province and 323 in Sudurpaschim Province are suffering from Dengue.
To prevent the spread of dengue, health workers have advised to keep the surroundings clean and use mosquito nets.
