Police have arrested Rajendra Chaudhary, 50, on the charge of killing his son Bishal Chaudhary, 17, of Agnisair Krishnasawaran Rural Municipality-5. The accused was arrested on August 24, 2022.
After getting the news that Bishal was killed on the night of August 22, the accused was taken into custody for investigation, said the Area Police Office of Kanchanrup, Saptari.
It has been said that after Bishal was suffering from epilepsy. He had suddenly collapsed and fell on the floor and became unconscious. Meanwhile, his drunk father kicked him in the stomach. When Bishal fell on the ground, his head got injured and he started bleeding from the ear.
The post-mortem of the body was conducted at Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital on August 23. The maternal uncle of the deceased, Ramkumar Chaudhary of Chaudandigarhi Municipality-5 of Udaypur filed a complaint at the Area Police Office Kanchanrup on August 25.
Inspector Ramesh Timalsina said that it was demanded to investigate the truth of the incident in the complaint and to take action against the culprits if found guilty of murder.
He said that the incident is being investigated and the action will proceed only after the post-mortem report is received.
