Police arrested a 23-year-old Pratik Rai, resident of Sisaubari, Sundarhaicha Municipality-6 on the charges of commission of offence of rape of a 17-year-old girl.
The victim’s side lodged a complaint at Police Post, Gachhiya stating the accused committed the offence of rape on July 24 2026. Complaint was filed on the same day of the incident.
Makendra Kumar Mishra, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) at District Police Office informed based on the complaint filed, the accused has been arrested for the purpose of investigation.
The victim’s medical examination was conducted at Koshi Hospital on July 27 2026.
