Police arrested a 66-year-old Prasade Darji a resident of Ilam Municipality -2 on the charges of commission of the offence of rape of a 16-year-old girl.
The victim’s side lodged a complaint on July 25 2026 at District Police Office stating the accused committed the offence of rape on July 18 2026.
The police said based on the complaint filed, the accused was arrested on July 26 2026 for the purpose of investigation.
The victim’s medical examination was conducted at the District Hospital on July 27 2026.
