Victim’s father filed a complaint against Samir Manshur, 36, of Chakraghatta Rural Municipality-5, at the District Police Office, Malangwa, on 20 February in the charge of rape of a 17-year-old girl.
As per the victim’s father, the accused raped the victim in the flower garden located at victim’s home on 13 February.
As per the inspector of District Police Office, Rakesh Yadav, the accused absconded after the incident and the search operation is ongoing.
Medical examination of the victim was conducted at Sarlahi District Hospital, Malangwa, on 20 February 2023.
