Police has arrested the brother-in-law of the victim on December 22 in the charge of attempting to rape a 35-year-old woman.
Victim filed a complaint at area police Butwal on December 22 stating that the accused attempted to rape her on December 5.
As per the victim, her brother-in-law called her with the excuse of a work and attempted to rape her.
DSP Thag Bahadur K.C. informed that the investigation has been going on based on the complaint filed bu the victim.
Health checkup of the victim was conducted at Lumbini province hospital on December 15.
