Police have registered a complaint against Meghraj Adhikari, 48, Bansgarhi Rural Municipality-6, Dangpur Damauli, at the local police office, Motipur, on December 17, on the charge of raping a 15-year-old girl.
The victim accused Adhikari of raping her on December 16.
DSP Hikmat Bahadur Bohra of the District Police Office said that the police arrested the accused after a verbal complaint on December 16.
The victim’s health examination was completed at Bardia Hospital Guria, on December 16.
