Coordinator Mahat held the view that economic, social, cultural and political rights should be reviewed for reliability.
Prashant Bista, Mayor of Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan City, said that it is the responsibility of the state to protect and promote human rights and that politics is unable to cover the issue of human rights because it is run by state political representatives.
Acting District Administration Office Chief Harishchand Sharma said that human rights are a common issue and it is important to understand what rights and duties are.
Similarly, on the last day against gender violence, rallies were held at various places in the district along with lamp lighting.
