Province 1, House of Representative and Provincial Assembly Election- 1800 Plus Polling Stations within the Province; 438 Considered Highly Sensitive

For the upcoming election of the house of representatives, 1,897 polling stations have been designated in Province 1. The election will be held on November 20, 2022. Among the designated polling centres, 438 are classified as highly sensitive, 824 as sensitive and 635 polling stations as normal.

According to the Provincial Election Office, 4,099 polling centres have been designated for the election. Among those centres, 971 are classified as highly sensitive, 1,855 are classified as sensitive and 1,273 are classified as normal.

In Taplejung, out of 57 polling stations, 23 polling stations are highly sensitive. In Sankhuwasabha, out of 103 polling stations, 82 polling stations are classified as sensitive and 18 polling stations are classified as normal. Likewise, in Solukhumbu, out of 122 polling stations, 11 polling stations are highly sensitive. In Okhladhunga, 12 out of 84 polling stations have been classified as highly sensitive, in Khotang, 40 polling stations out of 136 have been classified as highly sensitive, in Bhojpur 33 polling stations out of 87 have been classified as highly sensitive, in Dhankuta 16 polling centres out of 119 have been classified as highly sensitive and in Tehrathum, 21 polling stations out of 56 have been classified as highly sensitive.

Similary, in Panchthar, 34 polling stations out of 102 have been classified as highly sensitive, in Ilam 36 polling stations out of 150 have been classified as highly sensitive, in Jhapa, 271 polling stations out of 766 have been classified as highly sensitive, in Morang 50 polling stations out of 306 have been classified as highly sensitive, 59 polling stations out of 166 in Sunsari been classified as highly sensitive and in Udaypur 21 polling stations out of 101 been classified as highly sensitive.
