Police arrested Hem Bahadur Gharti, 34, of Devdaha Municipality-6, Keuli from Butwal on May 29, 2022, on the charge of raping a 22-year-old woman.
According to DSP Thaga Bahadur KC of the Area Police Office, Butwal, the victim had lodged the complaint at the Area Police Office, Butwal on May 29 stating that the accused had raped her on May 28.
According to the victim, the accused had taken her to a hotel and raped her.
The victim has been examined at Lumbini Provincial Hospital, Butwal on May 29.
