Police arrested Puran Rishidev, 60, of Dhanpalathan Rural Municipality-3 on May 29, 2022 on the charge of raping a nine-year-old girl.
The victim had lodged a complaint at the District Police Office on May 29 alleging that the accused had raped her on May 28.
DSP Deepak Shrestha of the District Police Office told INSEC that the accused was arrested from his residence for investigation on the basis of a complaint lodged by the victim.
The health checkup of the victim was conducted on May 29 at Koshi Hospital.
