Gandaki Province’s Internal Affairs’ Minister Dobate BK has violated the election’s Code of Conduct.
Minister BK attended the Manifesto Publishing Ceremony of Nepali Congress Byas Municipal Committee on April 29 which is against the Code of Conduct of election.
The Code of Conduct of election states that officials of the federal government, province government and local executive committee’s stakeholders are not allowed to participate in the election program of any party but Minister BK has violated that provision by attending the event. District Election Officer Hari Prasad Dhakal said that the minister’s participation in the party’s election program was against the election code of conduct.

Regarding this, Minister BK said that he went to the party office of the Nepali Congress for the selection of the plan because the program was being held there and he was called for the chairing ceremony. He also stated that he is fully committed to the election code of conduct and will fully abide it in the future.
