Police have arrested Bidur Bishwakarma, 38, in connection with the alleged killing of his wife, Salina Tolange Bishwakarma, 33, originally from Kathmandu District’s Shankharapur Municipality-6 Nanglebhare resident, currently living in Bhaktapur Municipality-10 Chhaling on June 3.
According to the District Police Range Bhaktapur, the accused attacked his wife with a khukuri, striking multiple parts of her body. She died at the scene.
During the incident, their eight-year-old son, Trasil Bishwakarma, was injured while trying to intervene in the dispute between his parents. He received treatment at Bhaktapur Hospital. The child is currently being kept in the child-friendly room of the District Police Range Bhaktapur.
