Police arrested a 38-year-old man on 17 June for the charge of raping his 14-year-old daughter.
The aggrieved party informed INSEC Representative that they filed a complaint against the accused at the District Police Office, Kailali on 16 June after finding out that the accused had been raping the victim since September 14, 2023.
Inspector Upedra Bahadur Bam of District Police Office, Kailali said that the accused has been arrested and further investigation is going on.
The medical examination of the victim was conducted on June 16 at Seti Provincial Hospital, Dhangadhi.
