Police have arrested four locals on charge of beating a 13-years-old girl of Janakpur-18 on July5.
The victim was beaten by locals Sujit Mandal, 4o, Jitendra Mandal,20, Ritesh Mandal,22 and Ramhridaya Pandit on charge of not giving them information about a run-away girl. She was tortured by the accused for five hours by tying her hands according to the victim.
The accused were arrested by the police after the victim lodged a complaint at DPO against all five accused.
SP Ram Datta Joshi of District Police Office of Dhanusha said that the accused will be charged under the law as the incident was very serious.
