Police arrested Yubarar Nau, 21 of Krishnanagar Municipality-12, Bhawanpur on July 4, on charges of raping a 17-year-old girl.
The victim’s family filed a complaint at the Area Police Office, Krishnanagar, on July 3, accusing Nau of raping the girl on March 29.
The victim underwent a medical examination on July 4 at Kapilbastu Hospital, Taulihawa.
