The District Court of Kaski has ordered to sentence Kabi Raj Acharya,38 of Pokhara Sub-metropolis-8, Simalchaur for 21 years on August 8 after finding him guilty on raping a 13-years-old girl.
The victim’s family had lodged a complaint on March 11 at district Police Office of Kaski on charge of multiple rapes on a girl.
The accused was arrested by the police based on a complaint lodged by the victim’s mother on March 13 and was remanded in custody by a court order on April 8.
The court has also ordered to compensate Rs 150,000 to the victim according to the information officer Khum Prasad Bhandari of District Court.
