The District Court of Sankhuwasabha has ordered to sentence 58 years old Padam Nath Dahal of Panchpakhan Municipality-2 for five years after finding him guilty on attempting to rape 62 year old elderly woman.
A single bench of District Court judge Prakash Raut had given the verdict regarding the case along worth Rs 20,000 as compensation to the victim.
A complaint against the accused had been lodged at District Police Office of Chainpur on charge of rape on April 28.
The victim underwent heath checkup at Primary Hea;th Center in Chainpur.
