At least 25 students at Tanjakot Rural Municipality-3, Maspur were deprived of going to school for the last 10 months after the wooden bridge that they were using was swept away by the flood.
The bridge was swept away 10 months ago affecting children in their education. The new academic session has already started and they were not able to go to the school till the date.
Children from Maspur village used to go to Ganga Lower Secondary Schol at Himali Rural Municipality-1 for study however, they could not continue their studies due to the lack of bridge over the river.
Tanjakot Rural Municipality chairman Bagdal Malla said that the state has neglected Maspur and further showed his commitment to improve the village within his tenure.
