Police have arrested two persons from the Behaliya check post on August 6 on charge of attempting to traffick 34 and 23 years old women in India luring them for a good job.
The victims were rescued from the check point according to the police. The arrestees were 21 years old Bishnu Prasad Pandey of Tilottama Municipality-17 and 31 years old Bhim Bahadur Pun of same Municipality-10. Another accused Nara Bahadur Gurung is absconding according to police.
Police had suspected after the victims were found without travelling documents and they were travelling to Dubai according to DSP Bel Bahadur Pandey of DPO.
