Police arrested Pramod Sahani, 27, and Sunil Sahani, 29, of Biratnagar Metropolitan City-11 for the charge of beating a family while they were staying in for after-death rituals of their family member. The incident took place on 25 August in Biratnagar Metropolitan City-11, Pichara.
A complaint was filed at the District Police Office on August 26 alleging that the family members were subjected to beating on August 25. The accused were arrested based on the same complaint, and the investigation is ongoing. Hariyanarayan Kamat, his sons Kiran Kamat, Santosh Kamat, and daughter Kali Kamat were injured by the beating.
