Three houses with 14 members in Bahunepati, Indrawati Rural Municipality-2 were displaced on August 11 due to landslide after three days of continuous rainfall. Inspector Madhu Khadka of the Area Police Office said that the homes of Chet Kumari Acharya, Raju Acharya, and Ganga Acharya were at risk due to the landslide, forcing their families to relocate. The displaced families have been moved to the house of Resham Bahadur Acharya in Chautara Sagachokgadhi Municipality-6.
Bandhu Prasad Bastola, Chief District Officer and Coordinator of the District Disaster Management Committee, said that the condition of the displaced people would be assessed, and they will be provided with necessary assistance.
