Police arrested 17-year-old boy and Sushil Bista of Krishnapur Municipality-7, Raikawar on May 25 for raping a 13-year-old minor on May 24. Inspector Rajesh Basnet of the Area Police Office stated that the aggrieved party filed a complaint on May 24 against five accused, including FIRs against three individuals. It has been alleged that the accused lured the victim and held her hostage while she had gone to attend a relative’s wedding in Krishnapur Municipality–7, Raikawar, and raped her repeatedly from May 16 to May 19. Inspector Basnet informed INSEC that police have arrested two of the accused and are searching for the remaining three absconding accused, including 27-year-old Madhav Bista.
The health examination of the victim was done on May 25 at the Mahakali Provincial Hospital, Mahendranagar.
