Police have arrested 25-year-old Jeeban Geylang of Indrawati Rural Municipality-10 on 18 December for the charge of attempted rape of a 20-year-old woman.
The victim alleged that the accused tried to rape her on 16 December when she visited Chautara Sangachokgadi municipality-13.
The victim filed a complaint on 17 December at the District Police Office, as informed by Sanjina Chauguthi, the chief of the Women, Children, and Senior Citizens Service Center at the District Police Office. The health examination of the victim was conducted at Chautara Hospital on 17 December .
