Police arrested 19-year-old Suraj Maurya of Lumbini Sanskritik Municipality-13, Babani, on December 5 for charges of raping a 19-year-old woman.
The aggrieved party filed a complaint at the Area Police Office, Lumbini, on December 4, alleging that the accused raped the victim on November 20, 2024.
The health examination of the victim was done on 4 December at the Bhim Hospital, Bhairahawa.
