Police arrested 32-year-old Saileshkumar Pandey of Kotihimai Rural Municipality-5, along with Mukesh Chaudhary, 26, an Enterprise Development Facilitator from Teliaghat Kothimai Rural Municipality, and Manohar Chaudhary, 32, an education technical assistant from Kothimai Rural Municipality-6, Khajani, on August 31 on charges of gang-raping a 19-year-old girl.
The aggrieved party filed a complaint against the accused at the District Police Office on August 31,alleging that the accused had raped the victim on August 21. DSP Manohar Prasad Bhatta of the District Police Office informed INSEC that they arrested the accused for further investigation based on the same complaint.
The health examination of the victim was done on 31 August at Bhim Hospital, Bhairahawa.
