Police arrested 41-year-old father on August 25 for the charge of raping a a 16-year-old girl.
The aggrieved party filed a complaint at the Area Police Office, Butwal, on August 22, alleging that the accused had been raping the victim girl continuously for the past four years, with the latest incident occurring on August 21. DSP Bijayraj Pandit of the Area Police Office, Butwal, reported that the accused has been arrested, and further investigation is ongoing.
The health examination of the victim was done on 22 August at the Lumbini Provincial Hospital, Butwal.
