Police arrested 43-year-old Indrabir Jhedi of Tansen Municipality-7 on 7 August for the crime of raping 16-year-old girl.
The aggrieved party filed a complaint at the District Police Office on August 7 alleging that the accused had raped the victim on August 7. Inspector Sandip Belbase of the District Police Office informed INSEC that based on the same complaint, the accused has been arrested and further investigation is underway.
The health examination of the victim was done on 7 August at the Palpa Hospital.
