Police arrested 35-year-old Saroj Yadav of Godaita Municipality-8 on 24 June for attempting to rape a 32-year-old woman.
The aggrieved party had filed a complaint against the accused at the District Police Office, Malangwa on 18 April alleging that the accused threatened the victim and attempted to rape her on 24 March.
DSP Dipak Shrestha of District Police Office, Malangwa has informed that the accused was arrested on June 24. The investigation is currently underway following a three-day extension granted by the District Court on June 25.
The health examination of the victim was done on 19 April at Sarlahi District Hospital, Malangwa.
