The Area Police Office Mirchaiya arrested Mohammad Motibul Sheikh, 40, of Mirchaiya Municipality-7, on June 19, 2024, for charge of attempting to rape a 59-year-old-women.
The aggrieved party filed a complaint at the Area Police Office , Mirchaiya on 21 November, 2023 stating that the accused allegedly attempted to rape the victim on 20 November . The health examination of the victim was done at Siraha Provincial Hospital on 20 November.
DSP Panchakumar Baku of the Area Police Office in Mirchaiya informed that the absconding accused has been arrested and further investigation is going on.
