Police arrested a 59-year-old Dev Bahadur Kunwar of Nimsekhola Rural Municipality -7 on July 24 2026. The accused was arrested on the charges of commission of rape of a 7-year-old minor girl.
Rameshwor Twati, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) at District Police Office, Baglung informed the accused was arrested from his home on the basis of complaint filed by the victim’s side. The complaint stated the accused committed the offence of rape on July 16 2026.
The victim’s medical examination was conducted on July 24 2026 at Provincial Hospital, Baglung.
