President Ram Chandra Paudel has promulgated an ordinance to amend the Voter List Act, 2016. According to the Office of the President, the ordinance was issued on 24 September 2025 pursuant to Article 114(1) of the Constitution of Nepal, on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers.
