Police arrested Laxman Khatri, 40, of Salle, Bhumlu Rural Municipality–5, on July 17 for the charge of raping a 39-year-old woman. The victim had filed a complaint at the District Police Office, Dhulikhel, on June 16, alleging that Khatri had raped her at her home on May 18. DSP Min Bahadur Ghale stated that the accused is being held in custody for further investigation.
The health examination of the victim was done on June 17 at Dhulikhel Hospital.
