Police arrested 43-year-old Bhuwansingh BK from Malika Khadikadhar, Dullu Municipality-13, on November 21, 2024, for killing 56-year-old Karnabahadur Kami, accusing him of practicing witchcraft. The aggrieved party filed a complaint at the District Police Office on 20 November stating that Kami, who had been a witch doctor, was accused of practicing witchcraft and causing illness and was killed on November 20 using a sickle.
The Information Officer and Inspector of the District Police Office, Lalbahadur Sunar, stated that the accused has been arrested and further investigation is underway.
The post-mortem of the body was done on 21 November at the Dullu Hospital.
