A complaint has been filed against an individual at the Area Police Office, Bhalubang on 16 October charging him of raping a eight year old minor. The aggrieved party in their complaint stated that the accused raped the girl on 9 October while she had went to play a swing near the Armed Police Base Camp, Bhaluwang.
District Police Office SP Arjun Kumar Timilsina stated that since the victim is a minor, identifying the accused has been challenging, and the search for those involved in the incident is ongoing.
The health examination of the victim was done on 10 October at the Rapti Academy of Health Sciences.
