Police arrested 21-year-old Ramesh Sawad of Jambukadh, Chamunda Bindrasaini Municipality-5, on October 13, for the charge of raping a 19-year-old woman with disability. The aggrieved filed a complaint at the District Police Office on October 11, stating that the accused raped the victim on October 9.
The victim underwent a medical examination at the District Hospital on October 11.
