Police arrested 49-year-old Lok Bahadur Newar of Bigu Rural Municipality-7 on October 5 for the charge of raping a 25-year-old woman. The aggrieved party in their complaint mentioned that the accused repeatedly raped the victim from March 2024 to June 29, 2024. The complaint was filed at the district police office on October 4.
The health examination of the victim was done on October 5 at Pashupati Memorial Hospital, Charikot.
