Police arrested 27-year-old Rapratap Yadav of Rajpur Rural Municipality-2 on the charge of raping a 22-year-old woman on 27 September. The aggrieved party filed a complaint at the Ward Police Office, Lamahi on 26 September, alleging that the accused had raped the victim on 25 September. SP Ram Bahadur KC of District Police Office informed INSEC that the accused has been arrested based on the complaint filed and further investigation is underway.
The health examination of the victim was done on 26 September at Rapti Academy of Health Science, Ghorahi.
