Police arrested 33-year-old Bhaktiraj Rai on September 9 forthe charge of killing 35-year-old Sasikala Rai of Khotang District, Diprung Chuichumma Rural municipality-7, and currently residing at Lalitpur Metropolitan City-24, Dhapakhel Makhundol.
Nareshraj Subedi, SP and Spokesperson of the District Police Complex Lalitpur, informed that during the investigation following the discovery of the victim’s body on August 28, her husband was found to be involved in the incident. As per Director of the Hospital Dr.Ravi Shakya postmortem of the body was conducted on August 29 at Patan Hospital.
